California Privacy Rights

What personal information do we collect?

In the last 12 months we have collected these categories through this website:

• Identifiers and contact details. Your first and last name, email address and phone number when you send us a message or a special event inquiry, along with the event type, group size and comments you choose to add, and your agreement to be contacted.
• Internet and device activity. When you submit a form, the IP address and browser (user agent) it came from. Your browser also keeps a record of how you reached the site (the campaign tags or ad click identifiers in the link, and the referring website) for the length of your visit and for up to 90 days, and that record is attached to a form you submit so we know which advertising or listing brought you.
• Cookie choices. Whether you allowed analytics and marketing cookies, saved in a cookie named site_consent_v1 on your device for 180 days. We do not keep a copy of it on our servers.
• Analytics and advertising data, only if you allow it. Pages viewed, device and browser details, and whether you called or messaged us, collected by cookies and tags from Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) as described below.

We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as government ID numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation or health information, on this website. Please do not include any in a message.

How do we use it, and who receives it?

We use contact details to answer your inquiry, arrange bookings and events, and follow up with you. Form submissions are stored in our database and sent to our team by email; the companies that host the site, the database and our email service process them on our behalf as service providers.

Ticket reservations are made in Bookeo, a third-party booking system embedded on our booking and escape room pages. What you enter there is collected by Bookeo for your reservation.

Some pages embed services from other companies: customer reviews (Elfsight), a map of our location (Google Maps), and videos (YouTube and Cloudflare Stream). When those load, or when you start a video, your browser connects to that company, which receives your IP address and browser details.

Google. Google Analytics and Google Ads tags load on every page with analytics and advertising storage set to denied. They are allowed to use cookies for analytics only if you allow analytics cookies, and for advertising, including measuring whether an ad led to a call or message, only if you allow marketing cookies.

Meta. These advertising tags do not load at all unless you allow marketing cookies. Once allowed, they report page views and whether you contacted us so we can measure and improve our ads.

Do we sell or share your personal information?

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

If you allow marketing cookies, the advertising tags from Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receive information about your visit that they may use for advertising beyond this site. California law treats that as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, and in some cases as a "sale." It happens only after you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.

How do I opt out of the sale or sharing of my information?

• On your first visit, choose Decline non-essential in the cookie banner. Advertising and analytics cookies stay off.
• At any time, open Cookie Preferences at the bottom of any page and turn off Marketing (and Analytics, if you like), then save. Your choice applies from the moment you save it and is remembered on that browser for 180 days.
• Clearing your cookies also clears your choice, so the banner will ask again on your next visit. Your choice applies to the browser and device you made it on.

What are my rights under California law?

• Right to know and access. Ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who received it, and get a copy.
• Right to delete. Ask us to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to exceptions the law allows, such as completing a booking or meeting a legal obligation.
• Right to correct. Ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing. Stop the sale or sharing of your personal information, as described above.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information through this website, so there is nothing to limit.
• Right to non-discrimination. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price or give you a different level of service for using any of these rights.

To protect your information, we will confirm your identity by matching the name, email address or phone number you give us against what we hold before we release or delete anything. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that you gave them permission. We respond to verified requests within 45 days, or tell you within that time if we need up to 45 more.

How long do we keep it?

As our Privacy Policy states, we keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and longer only where the law requires it, to resolve disputes or to enforce our agreements.

Will this notice change?
